A Day in the Life of an HVAC Service Professional

Morning Preparations

My day at All Climate Heating & Air Conditioning starts bright and early at 6:30 AM. After checking my service schedule and loading up my truck with essential tools and replacement parts, I head out to my first call in Redmond.

First Service Call

The morning begins with an AC repair for a family whose system stopped cooling overnight. These emergency calls are common during summer months, and we pride ourselves on our quick response times. After diagnosing the issue – a faulty capacitor – I complete the repair efficiently, ensuring the family can return to comfort.

Mid-Morning Tasks

By mid-morning, I’m in Kirkland performing a scheduled maintenance check on a commercial HVAC system. Preventative maintenance is crucial for system longevity, and I thoroughly:
• Check all electrical connections
• Clean condenser coils
• Test thermostat functionality
• Inspect ductwork
• Measure refrigerant levels

Afternoon Responsibilities

The afternoon takes me to Bellevue for an electrical installation project. As licensed professionals, we handle both HVAC and electrical services across the greater Seattle area. This particular job involves installing new wiring for a ductless mini-split system.

End of Day

Before heading back to base in Mountlake Terrace, I complete my final service call in Lynnwood – a routine electrical inspection for a small business. Each day brings different challenges across our service area, from Edmonds to Kirkland, but ensuring our customers’ comfort and safety makes it all worthwhile.

Being an HVAC and electrical professional means continuous learning and adapting to new technologies while maintaining the highest standards of service that our communities have come to expect from All Climate Heating & Air Conditioning.
